At Shepherds Friendly we’re always seeking ways to make life easier for you. We introduced tele-underwriting some years ago so that online applications for our plans are quick and efficient. We’ve now further improved the service.
We use experienced nurses at Morgan Ash to carry out tele-interviews to go through your medical history with you in order to provide you with all of the cover you need, and in the past this has required a call to the applicant to fix both a date and time for the interview to be carried out.
Now we’ve adapted this process to just 2 simple steps online. The first step is to select the date that best suits you for the phone call. You can then choose the most suitable time for the nurse to ring and carry out the interview on that date. This new improved system applies to all of our income protection plans, including our best selling Simple Income Protection Plan.
Shepherds Friendly’s Simple Income Protection is an affordable plan that provides a monthly income if you are unable to work due to sickness or an accident. It is flexible to your needs, and the already quick and easy application process is now even more convenient.
The premiums start for as little as £5 per month, you can choose to receive up to 70% of your normal income and can also select waiting periods between 2 and 52 weeks before you start receiving benefits.
