This year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday 5th July.
As Shepherds Friendly Society celebrates its 190th year, we are pleased to announce that the 2016 AGM will be held at our Head Office on Tuesday 5th July at 5:30pm.
As a member of Shepherds Friendly, you and your fellow members are the Society’s owners and the AGM offers the chance to make your voice heard on the past year’s performance and on our plans to take the Society forward into the next year and beyond.
This is your opportunity to play a role at the heart of the Society and to vote on the decisions we are looking to outline at the 2016 AGM, and we would really value hearing your opinions.
Three ways to vote and make your voice heard
AGM voting packs will be mailed out to members early in June. Members are invited to attend the AGM in person and we’d be delighted to see you there on the 5th July. If you can’t attend the meeting, the quickest and easiest way to vote is online on the secure and dedicated AGM voting page on our website.
You can also vote by post using the form you’ll find in the members’ AGM pack. Whichever way you choose to register your vote, we really welcome hearing your views as it’s our members who have made the Society the growing force it remains to this day.
Vote and support Seashell Trust
This year your vote will also benefit Seashell Trust, a charity which the Society is proud to have been supporting over the past year. We will donate 25p to Seashell Trust for every member who votes regardless of whether this is in person, online or via your AGM voting pack.
We look forward to hearing what you think!
