It has been over a year since we gave ourselves a makeover and enlisted the help of Studio North to create a new visual identity for Shepherds Friendly. We are delighted to announce that Studio North and Shepherds Friendly were awarded Silver for Best Visual Identity in the Financial Services sector at the Transform Awards 2022.
The Transform Awards
The Transform Awards seek to recognise and award excellence in rebranding and brand strategy. There are a range of categories, covering strategy, execution, content and evaluation, across many sectors. The design agency who helped us with our rebranding project, Studio North, was awarded Silver for Best Visual Identity in the Financial Services sector.
We are delighted to have been recognised for our unique identity. Our nomination in the awards has been an excellent opportunity to reflect on our brand and our goals as a Society. We hope that all our members, old and new, continue to benefit from our commitment to simplicity, making our products and services easy to access and straightforward.
Our brand
Our mission statement involves putting our members at the heart of everything we do. As part of this commitment, we aim to provide to our members with straightforward and easily understood products, which are free from technical jargon or complicated processes.
Our promise of “straightforward personal finance”, combined with our brand design, aims to present members with simplicity, breaking through the complexity that can come with personal finance.
We are proud of our brand and feel that it reflects our goals as a Society. When the brand launched, our Chief Marketing Officer, Max Jarrold said, “As a mutual, our mission revolves around helping our members to benefit, and the products we provide are designed to put them first. We believe in keeping it simple, and our updated brand identity is great step towards illustrating the simplicity and ease of access that we offer to our members. Our unique identity represents our modern stance while maintaining our centuries-old commitment to helping our members.”
